Flights

Participants should book their flights to Ben Gurion International Airport (near Tel Aviv) with their travel agent, or directly on the internet. Direct flights to Tel Aviv exist from most major airports in North America, Europe, India, China, Thailand, Brazil and Africa by El Al Israel Airlines, as well as by other international carriers.

 

Transportation from Ben-Gurion Airport to Jerusalem

By private taxi

Taxis to Jerusalem are available outside of the Arrivals Hall of Ben Gurion Airport at a cost of approx. 255 Shekels (US 70$) and the average trip is about 50 – 60 minutes.

 

By shared taxi

A shared shuttle service is also available to Jerusalem through a service called NESHER. The cost for the shuttle is approximately 56 Shekels (US $16) per person. There may be a short waiting time as the shuttle will only depart the airport once it is full. Passengers should advise the driver the name of the hotel that they need to be dropped off at. NESHER shuttles can be found outside of the Arrivals Hall (Level G). Please enquire at the ground airport information desk for assistance if needed.

 

Transportation from Ben-Gurion Airport to Tel Aviv

By taxi

Taxis to Tel Aviv are available at a cost of approx. 160 NIS (US $50). Taxis can be found outside the Arrivals Hall at Ben Gurion Airport (Level G). Depending on traffic, the journey should take between 30 to 45 minutes.

 

By train

The train station in Ben Gurion Airport is located on Level S. Tickets may be purchased through automated dispensers on Level G. We recommend disembarking the train at Tel Aviv Center - Savidor, and from there taking a taxi to your hotel.

By shared taxi

A shared shuttle service is available from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion International Airport, provided by a company called NESHER. The cost for the shuttle is approximately 56 Shekels (US $16) per person. The service should be booked by your hotel concierge 24 hours in advance of your flight. Please keep in mind that the journey to the airport takes take between 30 to 45 minutes (depending on traffic) and that check in time at Ben Gurion is three hours prior to your flight departure for security checks.
